How I Uploaded 5 New TPT Products in Just a Few Hours (And How You Can Too!)

If you’ve ever felt like creating and uploading new TPT products takes forever, I’m here to share some tips to speed up the process. Recently, I uploaded five new products in just a couple of hours, and I’m going to walk you through exactly how I did it!

Whether you're a seasoned seller or just starting out, these strategies will help you work smarter, not harder, when adding new resources to your store. Here’s how I made it happen:

1) Start with a Plan

Before I even opened my computer to start creating, I made sure I had a solid plan in place. Here's what I did:

• I wrote down the topics I wanted to create for
• I drafted the problems and created an answer key
• Estimated how much time I would spend on each product listing task

Having a roadmap helps you avoid the temptation to jump from task to task, which can really slow you down. By setting clear intentions and organizing the work upfront, you’ll streamline the process.

2) Use Templates to Save Time

Templates are a game-changer! I used pre-made templates that allowed me to:

• Duplicate layouts so I'm never starting from scratch 
• Easily and quickly insert new pictures using an image swap shortcut in PowerPoint
• Adjust the wording to fit the product

By starting with a template, you’ll save yourself tons of time by avoiding the need to reinvent the wheel for each product. All you have to do is tweak what’s already there. Click here to check out the done-for-you templates for your TPT listing!

3) Batch Your Tasks

This is one of my favorite productivity hacks! Instead of hopping from one part of the process to another, I did everything in batches:

• Create all the resources at once
• Take all my screenshots/product photos in one go
• Design the covers, thumbnails, and previews in one sitting
• Upload all five products to TPT at the same time

Batching tasks keeps your brain focused on similar actions and cuts down on time lost switching between different types of work.

4) Use the "Create a New Listing" Feature on TPT

This is a huge time-saver if you haven’t been doing it already! If you have a product that’s similar to one you’ve already listed (but maybe a different topic., for example), there’s no need to start from scratch every time. Instead, follow these steps:

• Go to your Product Listings
• Find a similar product you want to duplicate
• Click “Quick Edit”
• Then, click “Create Similar Listing” under the cover image.

This allows you to duplicate your product listing and tweak it for the new resource, instead of creating an entirely new listing from the ground up.
