Boost Sales & Engagement: 3 Must-Have TPT Thank You Page Elements

Jul 01, 2024

When turning your teaching resource into a TPT product, you always want to include a Thank You page. By adding a Thank You page to your product, you are not only thanking the teacher who purchased your resource for their purchase, but this page can also remind the buyer of a few other things. It does not matter whether you put it at the beginning or the end of your resource, just be sure that you have one in ALL of your TPT products! Remember, it never hurts to say "Thank You"!

When I create my Thank You page, in addition to my thank you message to the buyer, I include the following 3 things:

1. A message to encourage them to follow my TPT store

After my message to the buyer thanking them for purchasing my resource, I have a sentence encouraging them to follow my TPT store. I explain that the benefit to following my TPT store is to be the first to know about what new resources I post and to know when my store is on sale. Two very important things to buyers!

Encouraging the buyer to follow your store is a great way to market your store as well! When the buyer follows your store, they will get emails from TPT letting them know when you have posted a new resource for them to check out. The buyer will also be a recipient of your note to followers where you can further market your resources. So it pays off to add your TPT store link to each of your TPT products.

2. Let them know how to earn TPT credits

Did you know that you could earn credits from TPT?? I thought everyone knew this! But apparently, many buyers do not know that they could earn credits and apply them to future purchases. To inform your buyers of this great, money-saving opportunity, you definitely want to include a little blurb about this on your Thank You page! On my Thank You page, I give them instructions to head to their "My Purchases" page and leave reviews. I also hyperlink "My Purchases" so that it will take them straight to their purchases page (if they are logged in. Feel free to use the link here to use in this portion of your own Thank You page.

3. Clickable links to connect with me on other platforms

Another thing your Thank You page can do is allow your buyers to connect with you further! Having these clickable links will allow buyers to follow you on other platforms, go to your blog/website, and engage with you further. Allowing buyers to connect with you elsewhere is especially helpful if you market your resources on social media, like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or you have your own website/blog.

I add this part at the very bottom of the page and include social media icons and my website favicon. Then, I hyperlink each icon to the my platform website. This is very easy to do in PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe Acrobat Pro. Always double check that the links work!

Save Your Time - Use a Thank You Page Template!

To help me save time when it comes to transforming my teaching resources into TPT products, I use templates. Templates are one of the biggest keys to my success on TPT! I don't think I could do any of this without templates...

So, I highly recommend creating a template, either in PowerPoint or Canva (this is save to create in Canva since you are not actually selling the Thank You page!) to use for future products. All I have to do is add this Thank You page template to my resource and hit save! The page never changes. And there you go, you just saved probably 10-15+ minutes on creating a Thank You page from scratch for each product. You're welcome!!

Feeling overwhelmed by the thought of creating a Thank You page from scratch? (Trust me, it took me a while to create one that I actually liked... ) Don't worry, I have just the thing for you!
